The whole STCQC community welcomes with open arms its new School Treasurer, Sr. Alicia Barawid, ICM. The giggly Sr. Alice, as she is fondly described, embodies the famous saying of Mahatma Gandhi which goes, "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others."
Indeed, service with love has always been the inspiration and driving force of Sr. Alice in her life a as missionary sister. She has led a very colorful and exciting life, from being the very first Filipina ICM sister to be assigned in the heart of Congo, Africa in the 70's to being School Treasurer in several ICM schools around the Philippines.
According to Sr. Alice, she never says no to the calling of the Lord and never says never to the challenges that come her way. Asked about her feelings for this new chapter in her life as STCQC's new School Treasurer? She replied, "I have found a new family in this institution." Welcome to your new home, our dear friendly and giggly, School Treasurer, Sr. Alice Barawid, ICM.
