Theme: Theresians... THRIVING, SHINING, & RISING Above the Challenges of Online Distance Learning

The GS Science area collaborated with Pueblo Science for its activity during the Academic Fair 2021 celebration. Pueblo Science is a registered charity founded by scientists and engineers whose mission is to advance science education across the world and create lasting solutions to poverty. Its vision is to have a world where all youth are equipped with the scientific knowledge that empowers them to become the next generation of innovators. The volunteer teachers of Pueblo Science conducted an online demonstration of home-based science experiments among the Grades 3 to 6 students. They demonstrated exciting hands-on STEM activities related to Matter, Energy, Force, and Motion that fostered scientific thinking and creative problem solving skills among our students, using low-cost and readily-available materials at home.
We are very grateful to the Executive Director of Pueblo Science, Dr. Mayrose Salvador and to all the volunteer teachers, namely, Dr. Rommel Santos, Quincy Poon, Laura Roa, Candice Pereira, Simran Dhir, Sofia Suarez, Akshat Ghandi, Shabano Yousafzai, Razan Al-Janideh and Nmesoma Theo-Emegano for being our mission partner!
