STCQC REPRESENTS THE PHILIPPINES IN THE DECARBONIZE 2016:
#BlueYouth – A Global Mobilization on Water and the Climate
St. Theresa’s College, Q.C. was privileged to represent the Philippines as one of the fourteen Global Lead Schools worldwide to participate in a two-month long seminal collaboration on climate change.
DECARBONIZE 2016: #BlueYouth – A Global Mobilization on Water and the Climate is an endeavor that aims to connect the voices of over 25,000 youth from every continent on earth, and facilitate the world’s largest synthesis of youth opinion into a statement of action on the importance of water issues to climate change, and the need for sustainable water policies in this year’s United Nations Conference of the Parties (COP) 22 Conference on Climate Change in Morroco.
During the Global Town Hall Conference, STCQC’s final report received a special commendation for “excellent student outputs” among the participating countries.
Congratulations, dear Theresians, for letting your light shine for Mother Earth!
Continue to be blessings to others.
