SENIOR HIGH STUDENTS ACCREDITED AS RED CROSS VOLUNTEERS

72 members of the Grade 11 KABALIKATAN TIKAS (Teresa Isinusulong ang Kalinga Aruga at Serbisyo) and KABALIKATAN REMEDIAL (Relief Operations & Medical Mission)  groups, successfully finished the 2-day Red Cross Youth Leadership Development Training given by the facilitators from the Red Cross Youth (RCY) Q.C. Chapter. The RCY is the youth volunteering program of the Philippine Red Cross, which aims to educate and empower the  youth to engage in worthwhile humanitarian activities.

The two-day training workshop conducted in STCQC on November 26, 2016 and January 14, 2017,  strengthened the resolve of the senior high students to make SERVICE THROUGH VOLUNTEERISM their way of life.   More so, this training officially accredits these students as the pioneer members of the STCQC Red Cross Youth Council. As accredited members, they are considered volunteers of the Red Cross and are already eligible to render volunteer work.

Congratulations to the Grade 11  TIKAS and REMEDIAL Groups and to their Moderators, Mrs. Crisanta dela Peña, Ms. Honorina Rowena Castro, and Mr. Bryan Queja!

Continue to let your light shine through volunteerism, and be a blessing to others!
