GRADE 12 STEM STUDENT JAMS WITH MUSICIAN JOEY AYALA

In a spontaneous moment during the HS Culminating Activity of the Buwan ng Wika, Grade 12 STEM student and member of the HS Chorale, Therese Angeline Daluping, graciously accepted Joey Ayala’s invitation to jam with him on stage. The two played beautiful music together by striking with their bare hands a set of gangsa , a native musical instrument from the mountains of the Cordillera.

Filipino singer and songwriter Joey Ayala who is known for his style of music that combines the sounds of Filipino ethnic instruments with modern pop music was the guest of honor during the culminating activity.
