Ceremonial Turnover of Bantay Bata 163 Coin Banks

The Theresian community, opened its heart to ABS CBN’s Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation Social Welfare Program, Bantay Bata 163. The STCQC community empowered by its strong sense of advocacy to help those in need, partnered with Bantay Bata 163 to be able to share blessings with the needy children under the foundation’s care . Bantay Bata Program Director and proud Theresian alumna, Ms. Jing Castañeda-Velasco, reached out to STCQC for support in their Bantay Bata 163 Coin Bank: Barya Mo, Buhay Ko initiative.

Today, Ms. Jing Castañeda-Velasco together with the Bantay Bata staff, was greeted with an enthusiastic wave of support and love from the high school students and personnel. More than 100 coin banks will be filled with coins from our high school students, teachers, and personnel this month. These filled to the brim coin banks will be given back to Bantay Bata in time for the holidays.

We are very grateful and humbled to be part of an initiative that will spark joy in the hearts of children in need. As our Mother Foundress, Mother Marie Louise de Meester, once said, "Let your heart be like Christ so generous and so great, that the whole world may find room in it."
